Drop-In Indoor Soccer

We're looking at the possibility of hosting drop-in indoor soccer to be held from 9-10 am at Carrol Butts Athletic Park, located at 4201 W 94th Ave, in Westminster, CO on Saturdays, March 13th and 20th, 2010. Please check back if we're will indeed be able to rent this facility for the Hmong soccer community. There will be an entry fee for the use of this facility. Please spread the word as we should know early next week if we'll be able to secure the site for our community.

It's our hope that perhaps we may be able to host an Indoor Hmong Soccer League this year for those interested in playing 6 vs. 6 soccer. Please check back soon.

Community Open Gym

Once again we'll be hosting our basketball and volleyball open gym here in Colorado for all Hmong players. We'll start January 19th on Tuesdays with basketball and Thursdays with volleyball.  They gym will again be split into halves so there are two basketball and volleyball courts going at the same time. There will be an admission fee of $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for middle and high schoolers. This will help offset the cost of gym rentals.

We'll be at Niver Creek Middle School, 9450 Pecos Street, Thornton, CO from 7-9 pm on these designated dates. Please review the Open Gym Schedule on the left for dates.

Please note that our basketball league teams may be using half the gym for their team practices on Tuesdays.

Congratulations to Crush on winning the Championships

Football weather at it's finest, Crush the #1 seed(3 - 0) coming into today's championships faced off against #2 seed Legion(2 - 1). Crush was victorious and claimed the championships by mercy rules by shutting out Legion.  The consolation game between #3 seed Wolverines (1 - 2) as #4 Seed Bamboo (0 - 3) was not played.

Big Thanks to everyone who came out to play.  It was a great experience and fun watching everyone play.  Next year we do plan to have a Flag Football League so be on the look-out for that and prepare yourselves for a great time in the league.  We plan to have 9 on 9 Contact as well as 6 on 6 Non Contact.

Here are the final standings of Hmong Fall Fest HFF Tournament:

#1 Crush (4 - 0)

#2 Legion (2 - 2)

#3 Wolverines (2 - 1)
